Motorcycle Club Sponsors Charity Event

Each year, the members of the Triple XXX Riders Motorcycle Club, feel it is their duty to support at least one charity-based activity a year.  This past summer, they participated in two: one run for the March of Dimes and another for Sickle Cell Disease.  However, within just two months of the Sickle Cell run, one of their riders faced the most difficult challenge of his life.  On August 2, 2005, Andre Curtis, 36, of Amityville, NY was struck by a car and paralyzed.  He has been hospitalized ever since.

In an effort to support their fellow rider, at 8PM on November 5, 2005, they will host a fund-raising event especially for Andre at Fins Pub, 4608 Sunrise Highway, in Oakdale, NY.  

There will be a pool tournament and prizes raffled off.  All proceeds will go toward Andre’s medical expenses and to care for the basic needs of his young family.
